Abstract

PURPOSE: To achieve muting operation, by detecting the change from OFF to ON state (closing) of a power switch and that from ON to OFF (opening) by itself.
CONSTITUTION: When a switch S1 is applied, a current flows to a Zener diode D1 through the switch S1 and a resistor R2 from a power supply +B, and a capacitor C1 is charged with a voltage regulated at the Zener diode. The charging current flows to the base of a transistor Tr1 via a diode D6 and a resistor R3 to turn on the Tr1. Thus, pulse-like noise generated on a line 2 through the application of switch is absorbed to ground via the Tr1. When the switch S1 is opened conversely, since the base of a Tr2 is grounded via resistors R4 and R1, the Tr2 turns on. As a result, a current flows to a Zener diode D3 through the Tr2 and an R6 from the power supply +B and a capacitor C2 is charged with a voltage regulated at the Zener diode D3. Pulse-like noise can be rejected, because the charging current flows to the base of the Tr1 through a D5 and the R3 and the Tr1 turns on.
