Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to prevent unneeded long-period operation due to initial error information even if the delay time is short, by allowing a circuit not to operate for mixed time at the time of power feeding by using a smoothing capacitor and diodes. CONSTITUTION:When the power supply is put to work, no Zener currents flows from Zener diode ZD1 to diode D2 until the charging voltage of smoothing capacitor C3 reaches the Zener voltage. The time depends upon resistance R1 and the time constant of capacitor C3. If an input signal is gemerated at input-signal secondary winding T2 in this state, the signal current is cut off by diode D2, so that a charging voltage of the polarity applying a reverse bias between the base and emitter of transistor Tr1 will never be developed in capacitor C1. Transistor Tr1, therefore, remains conductive and capacitor C2 is not charged, so that the delay circuit will never operate. When the charging voltage of capacitor C3 reaches the Zener voltage of Zener diode ZD1 afterwards, the delay operation starts.
