Abstract
PURPOSE:To mount the deflection electrode without cutting the neck section by connecting the X and Y axis deflection board pairs through a spring supporting member and the inner conductive film of the neck to the side pin conductively. CONSTITUTION:An electron beam radiating section 28, Y-axis deflection board pair 29, shield electrode 30 and the X-axis deflection board pair 31 are planted on an insulative supporting rod 34 with predetermined interval to constitute an electron gun. While a side pin 32 is planted on the side neck 25 to enable the application of the voltage from the outside and the inner conductive film 34 connected conductively to the side pin 32 is formed on the inner wall of the neck 25. Then the contactors 33 are connected to the X and Y-axis deflection board pairs 29, 31 while the contactors 33 are contacted resiliently against the inner conductive film 34. Consequently the electron gun can be mounted easily without cutting the neck section.
