Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable stepless transmission by moving a moving pulley piece by conducting oil pressure from a pump connected directly with a prime mover into a cylinder to move a moving key fitted in an output shaft. CONSTITUTION:Fixed pulley pieces 1, 1' are secured to an input shaft 27, and moving pulley pieces 2, 2' are opposed to the fixed pulley pieces 1, 1' in such a manner as to slide outside of the input shaft 27. The movement of the moving pulley pieces 2, 2' is performed by moving keys 8, 8' piercing the fixed pulley pieces 1, 1'. Fixed pulley pieces 3, 3' are secured to an output shaft 28, and moving pulley pieces 4, 4' are opposed and coupled thereto. A moving stay 9 which is coupled to the moving keys 8, 8' through a bearing 40 is attached to a moving lever 67, and a piston 7 slides in a cylinder 39 by oil pressure of a pump 22 through a four-way cock 6.
