Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent sieze or damage of components etc. by a method wherein a pressure control valve to be communicated and operated when a hydraulic pressure in a low hydraulic passage is lower than a desired pressure value is provided between a high hydraulic pressure passage and a low hydraulic pressure passage which are communicated with a hydraulic pump and a hydraulic motor.
CONSTITUTION: High hydraulic pressure passage 38 and low hydraulic pressure passage 42 communicating a hydraulic pump 3 with a hydraulic motor 23 are arranged, and between these two passages are installed the pressure control valves 73 and 77 which are operated to communicate with each other when a hydraulic pressure in the low hydraulic pressure passage 42 is decreased to lower than a desired value. When the input shaft 7 is rotated at a low speed, a pressure in the pre-hydraulic pump 49 is decreased, resulting in providing a decreased hydraulic pressure in the low hydraulic pressure passage 42. And when the pressure is decreased to lower than a desired pressure value, the pressure control valve 73 is operated to communicate with the passage, the hydraulic oil in the high hydraulic pressure passage 38 is passed through a check valve 75 and the pressure control valve 73, then flowed in a short distance to a low pressure passage 40 to cause the hydraulic motor 23 to be halted. Thereby, it is possible to prevent a seize and damage of the sliding parts 13, 31 and the pistons 9, 27.
