Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform a stepless gear shifting without involving loss of power by a method wherein pressure oil is made to bypass in such a pulse state as its width is changed stepless in a hydraulic power communication method consisting of a hydraulic pump, especially a gear pump and a hydraulic motor.
CONSTITUTION: Gear pumps 2, 3 are connected with output axle of a prime mover 1 such as an engine, etc. so that gear motors 4, 5 may be separately driven by the pressure oil generated by each pump 2, 3. Check valves 6, 7 are intermediarily arranged within piping 14, 15 connecting the gear pumps 2, 3 and gear motors 4, 5. The bypass piping equipped intermediarily with magnetic valves 8, 9 is separately connected with the upstream side of each check valve 6, 7, while pressure accumulating tanks 10, 11 to smooth the pressed oil generating the motion of pulse in a state of pulse with the down stream of the valve.
