Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent overloading of engine and to make an efficient use of engine output, by detecting the load variation in a working system through variation of hydraulic pressure to a regulator, and thereby controlling the pump input torque.
CONSTITUTION: When on-off valve 18 is opened and a working system is set into operation while in operation of a driving system constituted by a crossover relief valve 14 connected to a hydraulic motor 13 via main conduits 11, 12 etc., the speed of engine 1 is lowered since the load acted to engine 1 is increased and the amount of hydraulic fluid discharged from a pilot pump 7 is decreased, so that pressure fluid is passed through a variable restriction 17. Resultantly, a pilot pressure Pa with its level being lowered is led to a regulator 15, so that the input torque of a pump 1 is lowered. On the other hand, in case of composite operation of the engine, engine speed is increased when the work load is lowered, so that pilot pressure Pa is raised and the pump input torque is increased. Thus, it is enabled to prevent overloading of engine and to make an efficient use of engine output.
