Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable driving of a working machine by means of breaking energy as well as obtaining action of engine brake by connecting an alternatively-driven variable pump, which is driven by means of an engine, to an alternatively-driven variable motor through a pipe line. CONSTITUTION:An alternatively-driven variable pump 12, which is driven by an engine 11, is connected to an alternatively-driven variable motor 14 through a pipe line 13, on which a relief valve 15 is provided, while the output side of the motor 14 is connected to a load 16. When the motor 14 is driven by means of the load 16, accordingly, the pumping work of the variable motor 14 can send the pressure oil to the pump 12 to operate it by reversing the tilting angle between the motor 14 and the pump 12 to that at the driving time. As a result, it is possible to obtain an engine brake function because an engine 11 produces a rotational resistance, and to drive a working machine by a means of breaking energy.
