Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent any drop in operating hydraulic pressure and an oil leakage from occurring by installing a cylinder in the back of a movable sheave, clamping a fixed piston, being inscribed with this cylinder, to a turning shaft, and partitioning off a hydraulic fluid chamber and a subchamber with this fixed piston, while installing a pin between the movable sheave and the cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder 41 is clamped to the back of a movable sheave 34 with a bolt 42, and a fixed piston 43 is inscribed with an inner surface of the cylinder free of slide motion. An inside diametral part of the fixed piston 43 is fitted in a drive shaft 31 through a spline, and it is clamped and fixed to this drive shaft 31 by a nut 44. In an interval between the movable sheave 34 and the cylinder 41, there is provided with a pin 45 piercing through the fixed piston 43 free of slide motion. With this pin, the movable sheave 34 is guided to the drive shaft 31 free of movement in the axial direction only, and power of the drive shaft is transmitted to a V-belt 75 via the fixed piston 43, the pin 45 and the movable sheave 34. In addition, a diaphragm 46 is installed between the inside diametral part of the cylinder 41 and the fixed piston 43, whereby there is partitioned off into a hydraulic fluid chamber 47 and a subchamber 48.
