Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce oil leak by making the oil in the compression side oil chamber to flow into the oil retaining chambers formed between the piston and the piston ring while the piston is being operated, and make the piston ring to be pressed to the cylinder side. CONSTITUTION:Concaved part is prepared to the axial direction of the outer circumference of the piston 2, and flange parts 5a and 5b are formed to the both end sides of the concaved part, and further, oil retaining chambers 6a and 6b are perpared along the circumference of the both ends of the dented parts, and a piston ring 4 of the little smaller axial length are installed in the concaved parts between flanges 5a and 5b, so that it can slide freely. During the pressing-in stroke, the piston 2 slides along the piston ring 4, and the compressed oil in the oil chamber A flows in the oil retaining chamber 6a, and the piston ring 4 is pressed to the internal surface of the cylinder 1. On the other hand, during the pulling-out stroke, the piston 2 slides along the piston ring 4 to the opposite direction, and the compressed oil in the compression side oil chamber B flows in the oil retaining chamber 6b, and the piston ring 4 is pressed to the internal surface of the cylinder 1.
