Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify a damper and reduce its cost by providing damping effect with the oil being made to flow mutually in and out between both axle side and body side cylinders through the piston rod which connects the piston in the axle side cylinder to the sub-piston in the body side cylinder. CONSTITUTION:The sub-piston 12 at the upper end of the piston rod 3 is slidably fitted in the cylindrical body 13, while the spring 15 is extendingly installed to push up the piston 12; on the other hand, cylindrical body 13 is stuck by baking to the internal surface of an elastic body 16, and the outer face of the elastic body 16 is stuck by baking to the external wall 17 being fixed to the vehicle body. Further, a variable volume oil chamber 19 is formed on the upper side of the piston 12. Therefore, when the sub-piston 12 moves downward while the load increases, and the oil in the lower chamber of the cylinder 1 openes the anhular valve 2a and flows into the upper chamber, simultaneously, the oil flows into the oil chamber 19 through the oil hole 4, and the sub-piston 12 is moved downwards against the spring 15. Also, when the load is being decreased, the oil moved reversely, the makes the rod 3 to move upward in relation to the cylinder 1.
