Abstract

PURPOSE: To smoothly shift the operation of a hydraulic vibration actuator from its accelerated driving mode by use of accumulated energy to that by use of hydraulic pressure of supplied oil, by dividing a corresponding oil chamber into an oil supplying and discharging chamber and a reaction chamber by a reaction chamber defining means each time when the piston comes near to the end portion of its stroke.
CONSTITUTION: Between piston 6 and at least one (2) of opposite end walls 2, 3 of cylinder 1, there is formed an oil chamber 4, which is divided, by reaction chamber defining means (consisting of peripheral wall 15 and mating portion 21), into an oil supplying and discharging chamber 22 that is communicated to oil supplying and dischargeing passage 7 when piston 6 comes near to the end portion of its stroke on the side of end wall 2 and reduces its volume along with movement of piston 6 toward end wall 2 and a reaction chamber 23 spaced apart from the passage 7, the volume of which is also reduced along with movement of piston 6 toward end wall 2. By thus dividing the hydraulic chamber, operation of a hydraulic vibration actuator can be shifted smoothly from its accelerated driving mode by use of accumulated energy to that by use of hydraulic pressure of supplied oil, so that generation of noises can be eliminated effectively.
