Abstract
PURPOSE:To lower the idling speed sufficiently while to reduce the power consumption, by arranging a piston coupled to the ambient temperature reactive member slidably in the storage chamber for the operating fluid thereby making the volume in the storge chamber variable. CONSTITUTION:Upon the lowering of the ambient temperature, a bymetal 12 having the outercircumferential end section secured to the cover member 5 will react to rotate the crank pin 13 clockwise thus to move the piston in the circumferential direction. Consequently the volume of the storage chamber 10 will increase and the fluid in the operating chamber 9 will return through a conduction hole 8a made in the partition board into the storage chamber 10. Consequently the flow in the shearing space S will reduce thereby differential speed between the input member 2, body member 3 and a cover member 5 will increase to rotate the body member 3, cover member 5 and the fan plate 16 secured to said member 5 will rotate idlely.
