Abstract

A piston 17 is fitted in the enclosed chamber 16 in a freely slidable manner, and the piston 17 is controlled by a helical shaft 19 connected to a small servomotor 18. With such an arrangement, the capacity of the compressor can be changed, if necessary, in a continuous manner by shifting the position of the piston 17 in the enclosed chamber 16 and thereby changing the volume of a chamber 20 of the enclosed chamber 16 located on the side of the cylindrical body 4.
