Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable to switch the supply of alcohol and gasoline automatically by a method wherein a main fuel path and the path of fuel for a starter, both equipped with pilot paths respectively, are provided in an alcohol chamber and a gasoline chamber respectively. CONSTITUTION:The alcohol chamber 3 and the gasoline chamber 4 are provided dividedly at the lower part of the carburettor while the main fuel path 5, opened at the central lower side of the throttle valve 2, and the main pilot path 6 are communicated with the alcohol chamber 3. The path 8 of the fuel for the starter for a starter path 7 and the pilot path 9 are also communicated with the gasoline chamber 4. In such a constitution, in order to start an engine, the throttle valve 2 is closed firstly to the opening degree for idling and then a starter valve 10 is lifted up. Then, the starter path 7 is opened, gasoline is supplied from the path 8 of the fuel for the starter to the starter path 7 and the engine is actuated. When the throttle valve 2 is lifted up to increase the speed of the engine and the opening degree thereof has become 1/4 or more, the main pilot path 5 and the sub pilot path 9 become ineffective, accordingly, the engine is operated by only the alcohol from the main fuel path 5.
