Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform exhaust gas recycling which corresponds to rotational frequency, by providing a main control valve and an accessory control valve in parallel with each other in an intake passage so that the main control valve is opened and closed by a fuel injection pump and the accessory control valve is opened and closed by a centrifugal governor.
CONSTITUTION: The intake and exhaust passage 2, 3 of a diesel engine 1 are connected to each other through an exhaust gas recycle passage 4 provided with a recycle valve 13. The intake passage 2 is divided into a main passage 2a provided with a main control valve 5 and an accessory passage 2b provided with an accessory control valve 6. The main control valve 5 is interlocked with the control lever 7a of a fuel injection pump 7. The accessory control valve 2b is interlocked with a centrifugal governor 11 which moves in response to rotaional frequency. When the rotational frequency is increased, the degree of opening of the recycle valve 13 and the accessory control valve 2b is heightened.
