Abstract
PURPOSE:To carry out a test to decide whether a program is correct or not, by securing a test for the contents of a program memory without reading it to outside and making it difficult for a third person to know the contents of the program memory. CONSTITUTION:When a switching is given to a test mode by a test input signal 8, an external address signal 8 is turned into an address input by an address input multiplexer 5a for the address input to be applied to a program memory 2. The memory data corresponding to the address input is fed to a dissidence detecting circuit 12 through a memory data output multiplexer 5b. While a comparison data input signal 14 is fed to an input of the circuit 12 from a comparison data input circuit 11 to be compared with the output of the multiplexer 5a. Then a dissidence holding FF13 is set if no coincidence is obtained. Thus the address and the comparison data are changed successively after clearing the FF13. After this, the contents of the FF13 is checked to give a test for the correctness of a program memory.
