Abstract
PURPOSE:To stabilize an inverter device after stopping the device by providing a comparing circuit for comparing the voltage from a smoothing circuit with a reference voltage and a logic circuit for supplying an operation signal to an inverter in response to the output signal from the comparing circuit. CONSTITUTION:An inverter device 14 is started by a start command S2, and the output voltage Vc of a capacitor 9 is larger than a reference voltage Vr. When the start command S2 is set at 0 level to stop the operation, a voltage controlling circuit 10 stops operation. However, the output voltage Vc becomes higher than the reference voltage Vr by the residual charge of the capacitor 9, and the OR gate 17 continues the operation of a frequency controlling circuit 11. Thus, the charge of the capacitor 9 is discharged through an inverter 5 or the like to a load 7. When the output voltage VC becomes lower than the reference voltage Vr, the operation of the inverter 5 is stopped. Since the inverter is operated until the residual charge is fully discharged even if the stop command is outputted in this manner, it can remove the inconvenience after the stoppage.
