CONSTITUTION:A current variation detector 22 receives an input the output current detection signal 211 detected by an output current detecting converter 21, and outputs a detection signal 221 when the variation in the current becomes higher than the prescribed value. A timer circuit 23 using a monostable multivibrator is started by the detection signal 221, a stop command 232 is applied to a gate control circuit 15 for the prescribed time, and the operation of the chopper circuit 2 is stopped for the prescribed time.
