Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce mechanical loss of an engine and increse its efficiency, by circumferentially providing a compression groove to a true round shaped rotor, providing a press contact piston in the compression groove, providing a blade part in the periphery of the rotor and providing a jet port, communicated to the blade part, in a combustion chamber. CONSTITUTION:A compression groove 16 is circumferentially provided to a true round shaped rotor 10, and a protrusive part 18 is formed to divide the compression groove 16. An in-out movable press contact piston 28 is provided in the vicinity of an intake port 22 in the compression groove 16. An explosion chamber 32 is formed to the end of a high pressure gas passage 30 and communicated by a check valve 38. A blade part 40 is provided in a necessary peripheral surface of the rotor 10, and a jet port 34, communicated to the blade part 40, is provided in the explosion chamber 32. A shock wave, generaed by compresed air and fuel of a fuel injection device 36 in the explosion chamber 32, collides against the blade part 40 from the jet port 34 to apply rotary energy. In this way, an energy saving rotary engine of high efficiency can be obtained.
