Abstract
PURPOSE:To efficiently enable to store hot water and heat particularly in winter by providing a switch mechanism for selecting hot water storage mode separately from a switch mechanism for selecting air conditioning mode, thereby enabling to select the hot water storage by heating operation priority and heating by hot water storage operation priority. CONSTITUTION:The captioned heat pump has a compressor 2 driven by an engine 1, a hot water heat exchanger 20 in a hot water tank 18, an outdoor heat exchanger 3 and an indoor heat exchanger 4 in a coolant utilizing cooling/ heating circuit. The apparatus also has an engine heat utilizing storage water heating circit which is composed of a hot water storage heat exchanger 19 for heating water for hot water with coolant of the engine 1 and the hot water in the tank 18, indoor and outdoor heat exchangers 7, 16 aligned in the vicinity of the heat exchangers 4, 3 and a circulation pump 15, etc. In this case, it is constructed to perform hot water storage operation preferentially to the heating operation in a heating mode of the state that the hot water storage mode is selected by a hot water storage mode selecting switch (not shown), thereby efficiently storage hot water.
