Abstract
PURPOSE:To enhance the heat recovery efficiency and reduce the frequent ON- OFF change actins of a heat engine and a refrigerator by a method wherein the waste heat of cooling water of the heat engine and the waste heat of a heat pump circuit are used for hot water supply and the waste heat of cooling water of the heat engine is used as an auxiliary heat source for heating. CONSTITUTION:The heat pump circuit consists of a compressor 1, a four-way valve 2, a condenser 3 in a hot water storage tank 4, an outdoor side heat exchanger 11 and an indoor side heat exchanger 20. A waste heat circuit consists of the cooler 25 of the heat engine 22 driving the compressor 1, an outdoor side radiator 29, an indoor side auxiliary heating coil 33 and a heater 35 in the hot water storage tank 4. The water within the hot water storage tank 4 is heated with the condenser 3 and the heater 35. The cooling and heating are performed by automatically changing-over the indoor side heat exchanger 20 to or from as evaporator from or to as condenser in response to the heat load is requested during the heating operation, the flow passage of the waste heat circuit is automatically changed-over from the heater 35 to the indoor side auxiliary heating coil 33 in response to the higher heating load, resulting in establishing forcible heating operation.
