Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the cost with a compact size by providing a fin coil type heat exchanger with a combination of a passage for hot water and that for refrigerant.
CONSTITUTION: A fin coil type heat exchanger 4 is provided with a combination of passage 5 for hot water and that 6 for refrigerant. When the water temperature of a heat accumulator 2 is low, a blower 9 of an outdoor machine is run to act a fin coil type heat exchanger 4 as a heat pump evaporator of an air source. When the water temperature is higher than the specified level, the blower 9 of the outdoor machine is heated while a pump 7 is operated to act the fin coil type heat exchanger 4 as heat pump evaporator of the water heat source. This enables the use of the evaporator of the outdoor machine in a heat pump both for the water and air heat sources with one heat exchanger, eliminating controller such as special three-way valve. The heat pump appratus is made compact reducing the cost.
