Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the lowering of insulation efficiency due to the holes provided on a slot insulator by a method wherein, in the rotor for superconductive rotary electric machine, and insulated plate is provided on the spool of a superconductive field coil and the refrigerant passage of a slot insulator. CONSTITUTION:The superconductive field coil 3 is insulated by both an insulator 17 located in the spool and slot insulators 20 and 21. As the refrigerant flows in the direction shown by the arrows in the diagram through the passages 23 and 24, the dielectric strength is reduced at the section where holes are provided on the slot insulators 20 and 21. Accordingly, the lowering of insulation efficiency is prevented by providing an insulating tube 22 instead of thickening the slot insulator 20. Also, in regard to the refrigerant passage 24, the lowering of its insulation efficiency can be prevented by increasing the creeping distance of the slot insulator 21 which can be accomplished by chamfering a part of the spool 16 or by providing a slantedly machined part 25.
