PURPOSE:To obtain a bright and clear screen having a high precision of range finding, by giving fine and random ruggedness onto a fly eye lens in the finder screen of a camera or the like. CONSTITUTION:A laser light flux 1 is expanded by beam expander systems 2 and 3, and three spot light sources 61-63 are formed by three lenses 51-53, and lights from these light sources are projected onto a recording member 9 through a filter 7 having three pinholes. Meanwhile, the diffused light from a diffusing object on a lens holder 4 is superposed onto a region 11 where light fluxes 101-103 overlap, and a two-dimensional periodic pattern due to the interference of these light fluxes and spectrum pattern are superposed, thus obtaining a fly eye lens having a fine and random ruggedness. When the primary- the tertiary transmitted lights caused by the periodic structure are 0.4-1.5%, 0.4- 1.5%, and 0.2-0.6% respectively for wavelength 550mm., a bright and clear finder screen having a high precision of range finding is obtained.
