PURPOSE:To obtain a diffusing plate for preparing a bright finder screen with an excellent precision of a range finding by forming a periodic interference pattern on a photosensing material and conducting a luminous flux forming an optical-spot-pattern onto the photosensing material. CONSTITUTION:In the figure, 1 indicates a laser luminous flux, 2, 3 a beam expander system, 4 a lens holder holding three lenses 51-53, 61-63 three multipoint light sources generated by three convex lenses, respectively. As occasion demands, it is equally well to provide a filter 7, having a very small opening which is slightly larger than the size of the point light source, at places of 61-63, in order to remove noises caused by dusts and the like stuck on the lenses.
