Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform well optical recording by so controlling the apparatus that the centers of beams pass through the slits or pinholes in the optical path and defining the relation position of two sets of projection laser spots to a specified state.
CONSTITUTION: Laser light from a laser 6 is bisected by a half mirror 9, is modulated according to recording signals with light modulators 22, 10 and is projected as two sets of light sports onto a grooveless original disc D via convex lens or the like 24, cylindrical lens 13, slit members 25, 15. When the two sets of these laser luminous fluxes are received with the position deviation detectors 31, 30 formed by two sets of photo detectors PD3 and PD4, PD1 and PD2 via half mirror 18, etc. to control the lenses 25, 14, then the laser beams dividedly focus at the slits S2, S1 of the members 25, 15.
