Abstract

PURPOSE:To control a relative movement of a car body and a hanger device by providing a piston with a concave guide member, a valve member and a pressing member and reducing the width of an oil flow path by moving the valve member with accelerated velocity. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder 12 of a shock absorber 10 is coupled to a swivel arm 18, and a piston rod 16 is coupled to a car body 20. A pressing member 26 and a guide member 28 which have concentric concave surfaces are disposed on a mount seat 24 opposite to a piston 14, and a valve member 34 is movably mounted in the space 32. When a car is revolved and acceleration is applied thereto, the valve member 34 is guided to move by a spherical surface 27 of the pressing member 26 and a spherical surface 29 of the guide member 28 so as to reduce the width of a flow path formed by a through hole 30 of the pressing member 26, a through hole 31 of the guide member 28 and a through hole 38 of the valve member 34, which causes resistance of oil to increase. Therefore, a relative movement of a car body 20 and a hanger device is controlled so that the car body 20 does not incline, whereby the operational stability is improved.
