CONSTITUTION:When a user program 3 outputs an access request to an artifical disc device 7, an artificial disc device driving program 8 references a disc device managing table 4 and recognizes the number of a real disc. Simultaneously, the address on the real disc is calculated and an access request is given to a real disc driving program 6 by applying a base address to an artificial disc address of user designation. In this case, the real disc device driving program 6 registrates the access request to a large capacity disc device 5 in queue, the device 5 is started in the order of arrival and the data transfer is executed. The completion is received from the device 5 and transmitted to an artifical disc device driving program 8 of the original request.
