In the conversion of a character inputted to a keyboard into a braille, since one character corresponds to one braille in case of the 50 Japanese sounds, and the code bit is stored in a series L(n) according to the inputted characters. In case of a voiced sound, a contracted sound and a word of foreign origin, since the character is represented by two braille characters, the bit code is stored in L(n) and L(n+1).
