Abstract

PURPOSE:To offer a corrosion inhibitor having an excellent anticorrosive effect on a cuppric metal, by letting the inhibitor contain nitrogen-contng. cyclic amine or its salt as an effective component. CONSTITUTION:As niteogen-contng. cyclic amine which may be represented by the formula is used one or more of piperazine, pyrazine, pyrrolidine, pyrimidine and these salts. Its solution is used in an alkaline state, and adjusted at pH 7.0-10.0 or so by use of an equivalent mol or less amount of acid. The neutralizing acid may be boric, carbonic or nitric acid, for instance. Another corrosion inhibitor such as phosphate or silicate may be conjunctly used.
