Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a high-strength alloy article excellent in heat-resistance, by hot-working a Fe-based or Ni-based alloy containing specified amounts of Ti, Nb and Al under a high-working ratio high-working temperature cindition enough to bring about highly dynamic recrystallization.
CONSTITUTION: A Ni-based or Fe-based alloy containing 0.2W6wt% of one, two or three of Ti, Nb and Al is hot-worked under a high-working ratio high-working temperature condition enough to bring about highly dynamic recrystallization. The worked alloy is then heat-treated at 800W1,000°C, to remove stress and to form fine deposition over the whole area of crystal grains. Thereafter, the alloy is solution-treated into a good metallurgical structure, while suppressing the coarsening of the crystal grains and the formation of twin during the solution-treatment.
