Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic receptor with high sensitivity, and less residual potential by adding an adequate amount of a charge transferring substance to a charge generating layer as well as to a charge transferring layer and laminating the layers. CONSTITUTION:A uniform coating liq. is prepared by dispersing 25pts.wt. 1- phenyl-3-(p-diethylaminostyryl)-5-(p-diethylaminophenyl)-pyrazoline or the like as a charge transferring material and polyester resin or the like as a binder in a solvent such as tetrahydrofuran together with 100pts.wt. phthalocyanine pigment or the like as a charge generating material. The coating liq. is applied to an electrically conductive support and dried to form a charge generating layer. On the layer a charge transferring layer is formed using a coating liq. contg. said charge transferring material and said binder. Thus, a fine image with high sensitivity faithful to its original is obtd.
