CONSTITUTION:a laminated receptor is composed of an electrically conductive substrate 1, a charge generating layer 2 contg. a photoconductive org. pigment on the surface of the substrate 1 and a charge transferring layer 3 on the layer 2. The layer 2 is made of composition consisting of the photoconductive org. pigment such as perylene, quinacridone or pyranthrone pigment, a photoconductive or nonphotoconductive resin binder and an aromatic nitrocarboxylic acid or its anhydride represented by formulaI(where X is H, OH or a carboxyl group, when X is a carboxyl group, 2 carboxyl groups may be dehydrated to form an acid anhydride group, and n is 1 or 2) as an electron accepting substance. The aromatic nitrocarboxylic acid is p-nitrobenzoic acid, 3,5-dinitrobenzoic acid, 3-nitrophthalic acid, 4-nitrophthalic anhydride or the like.
