Abstract
PURPOSE:To continuously generate motive power without using auxiliary machinery such as a pump, by providing a gas and liquid ejection nozzle of prescribed throat area ratio in an enclosed circulation line in which circulation is caused by the heating action of a low-temperature energy source. CONSTITUTION:A natural circulation line comprises an upper drum 1 with a condenser 8, a water downcomer 2, a lower header 3 and an evaporation pipe 4. A natural circulating force is caused by a low-temperature energy source of about 50-200 deg.C through the evaporation pipe 4. High-speed jets of gas and liquid are ejected from a nozzle 5 whose throat area ratio is about 0.05-0.3. A gas and liquid flow turbine 6 is driven by the jets to cause an electricity generator 7 to produce electric power. Low-temperature waste heat or natural energy is thus utilized to efficiently produce motive or electric power without using auxiliary machinery such as a pump.
