Abstract

PURPOSE:To raise the threshold voltage of an inverter by inputting an input signal to the inverter through a series of enhancement type FETs whose drains and gates are connected. CONSTITUTION:Transistors (TR) E11-E16 (enhancement type) whose drains and gates are connected, and TRD11 (depletion type) as a resistance element are connected in series, and the source of the TRE16 is connected to the input terminal of an inverter composed of TRs E17 and D12. When a voltage applied to the input terminal I is higher than the threshold voltages of the TRs E11-E16 connected to a diode and that of the inverter, the TRE17 turns on. The number of the series-connected TRs E11-E16 is so determined that the threshold voltage of the circuit is higher than a supply voltage Vcc to the inverter.
