Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent erroneous judgement due to the erroneous operation of an intermediate circuit by discriminating whether battery backup is performed normally or not by stored contents. CONSTITUTION:After breaking AC power supply 4, DC voltage supplied to each circuit in a CPU1 does not fall immediately to protect the electric power source and condensers in the circuits. A specific address of a volatile memory 2 is assigned to discriminate the backup result. When receiving a interruption detection signal, a memory data coincidence detector 8 writes data in the specific address of the volatile memory 2, reads out the from the specific address of the volatile memory 2 by a restore detection signal and compares the read data with a prescribed write data; when both the data are inconsistent, the circuit applies an error detection signal 9 to the CPU1.
