Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve liquid leak resistance by providing a synthetic resin thin film in a battery container and a sealing plate which are adjacent to a packing. CONSTITUTION:A battery with organic solvents is formed by housing a positive electrode 1 consisting of manganese dioxide, a separator 5 which impregnates electrolyte, and a negative electrode 6 consisting of metal lithium in a battery container 2 whic serves both as the negative electrode terminal and sealing them through a packing with a sealing plate 7 which serves both as the negative electrode terminal. In this case, the section to which the packing 8 is adjacent for the said battery container 2 and sealing plate 7 is precoated with synthetic resin thin films 3 and 4 and the corresponding packing 8 is inserted. Besides, it is recommended that a copolymer resin consisting of polypropylene, polyehtylene, poly 4 ethylene fluoride, 4 ethylene fluoride-6 propylene fluoride is used as these synthetic resin thin films 3 and 4.
