Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve fogging prevention performance and dehumidification performance, by connecting a humidity sensor to the relay of a drive circuit for the compressor of an automobile air conditioner in parallel with a variable thermoswitch so that the compressor can automatically be turned on or off. CONSTITUTION:When the humidity is lower than a set level, the resistance of a humidity sensor 6 is so high that an electrical current sufficient to operate a relay 4' does not flow through a humidity control circuit B. For that reason, the turning on and off of a compressor 1 is regulated only by a temperature control circuit A dependent on a variable thermoswitch 3. When the humidity is not lower than the set level, the resistance of a humidity sensor 6 is so low that the sufficient electrical current flows through the humidity control circuit B to turn on the relay 4'. For that reason, the compressor 1 is turned on, independently of the status of the temperature control circuit a, to effectuate dehumidification. Since the compressor 1 is turned on or off depending on the humidity but independently of the temperature control circuit A, wind pane fogging prevention performance and dehumidification performance are improved.
