Abstract

PURPOSE:To minutely air-condition a compartment of a car by a system wherein a detector for the surface temperature of an outside panel of the car is mounted and the set temperature for air conditioning is lowered when the quantity of insolation is large. CONSTITUTION:A circuit of a room thermo-switch 12, which is arranged near a suction port of an indoor fan 7, and an outdoor fan 9 and an electromagnetic clutch 10 is connected to a power source 15 through a main switch 16 in parallel with the indoor fan 7. The room thermo-switch 12 is provided with a high-temperature contact 12a and a low-temperature contact 12b in parallel, and set temperature can be adjusted by means of a dial 17. Meanwhile, a thermostat 13 for detecting the surface temperature of an outside panel of the car without the effect of outside air currents is connected to the low-temperature contact 12b and the high-temperature contact 12a. The fan 9 and the clutch 10 are normally controlled by the set temperature of the contact 12a at the high-temperature side, but the thermostat 13 is closed when the temperature of the outside panel of the car rises due to the increase of the quantity of insolation, and the fan 9 and the clutch 10 are controlled by the set temperature of the contact 12b at the low temperature side.
