Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform a comfortable air-conditioning, taking humidity into consideration, by incorporating a switch, which detects humidity, in an air conditioner having a multi-speed fan, and by rotating the fan at a low speed in the case of a value detected by the switch being higher than a given value.
CONSTITUTION: In the case of humidity RH being smaller than a given value RH1, a humidity switch 1 comes in contact with a contact 1a, and a positive contact 2a is closed as a result of a relay 2 being excited. Since a strong coil 4a of a coil 4 works, a fan runs at a full speed. When the humidity is higher than RH2, the switch 1 comes in contact with a contact 1b, and a positive contact 3a is closed as a result of a relay 3 being excited. Since a weak coil 4c of the coil 4 works, the fan runs at a low speed. When the humidity is indicated between RH1 and RH2, the switch 1 is not closed, and the relays 2 and 3 are not excited. And thus, reverse contacts 2a and 3b are closed, and the fan runs at a middle speed.
