Abstract

PURPOSE:To maintain air conditioning after an air conditioner which controls blowoff air flow depending upon temperature conditions is started by unlimiting the air flow range within the fixed time after the start and subsequently limiting it below the specific air flow. CONSTITUTION:The optimum control air flow AVO is calculated by a microcomputer 7 depending upon conditions such as the preset car room temperature Ts and car room temperature Tr. Besides, the maximum air flow limiting value AV1 is calculated as the function of the time after an air conditioner is turned on and air flow is controlled in the range below the T1hr after the air conditioner is started based on the control air flow AVO. The air flow is controlled by either the limited air flow AV1 which is reduced to a small value with time by means of a conversion circuit formed in a resistor R or the small value of the control air flow AVO between an elapse of the T1hr and T2hr and below the fixed air flow value after an elapse of the T2hr. As a result, subsequent air cut noise can be decreased without damaging the rise performance after the start.
