Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform reliable measurement of an inner diameter of fine tubes without adjustment, by a method wherein laser light passing through a fine tube is detected by a photo detector, meanwhile, laser light from a beam splitter is detected to produce a reference voltage, and the measurement of the inner diameter is obtained by a fine tube inner diameter detecting signal processor through a comparision amplifier. CONSTITUTION:A part 24 of a laser light bundle, radiated from a laser tube 2, is fetched by a beam splitter 21, and a part 6, advancing in a beeline, forms a parallel light beam 6' after passing through a lens 12. A transparent fine tube 11 to be measured is irradiated with light 6''' passing through a polarizing mirror 8 and a collecting lens 10. Light beam passing through the fine tube is collected by a lens 10' and is detected by a photo detector 13. A detecting voltage Vo produces an input of a comparision amplifier 15. Meanwhile, laser light 24, so fetched, is detected by a photo detector 22 to produce a reference voltage V's via an amplifier 23. Irradiated light to fine tube is scanned by a polarizing mirror 8, and this obtains a signal passing through both the thick wall part and inner diameter part of the fine tube. As a result, simply through a change in a laser light source, both the reference voltage V's and the detecting voltage Vo fluctuate to perform a compensation.
