Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a lithium solid electrolyte battery having a low internal resistance by using lithium nitride heat-treated under vacuum as a solid electrolyte. CONSTITUTION:Lithium nitride powder having a maximam particle size of 1000 microns is heat-treated at 80-300 deg.C under vacuum not more than 1X10<-2>mm.Hg, and molded in a disc to form a solid electrolyte 14. The solid electrolyte 14 is placed in contact with a positive active material 13 molded in a disc shape after adding lead powder to lead iodide powder on a positive curent collector 12 comprising a copper disc. A negative active material 16 comprising a metal lithium disc and a negative current collector 17 comprising a copper disc are stacked on the solid electrolyte 14 to form a lithium solid electrolyte battery.
