Abstract
PURPOSE:To measure radius of curvature of an objective with rapidity, by projecting a pair of bright points onto an object of examination from directions symmetrical to an objective optical axis, and then, also by projecting another pair of bright points onto a surface of the object, which is perpendicularly crossing the surface, from the symmetrical directions. CONSTITUTION:By providing a pair of optical axes O1 and O2 of projecting optical system within a surface containing an objective optical axis O, a pair of bright points are projected onto an eye E1 for examination from directions symmetrical to each other, and at the same time, another pair of bright points are projected onto a surface of the eye E1, which is perpendicularly crossing the surface, from mutually symmetrical directions. And, a measurement optical system is divided into an observation light path of an examiner E2 and an automatic measurement light path, and a photoelectric conversion element 15 to cope with the 4 bright points is provided in the neighborhood of forcal surface of the automatic measurement light path, and at the same time, a copper 14 is also provided to scan the light-receiving surface, and an operation is made by scanning speed and output of the photoelectric conversion element 15. And therefore, it is possible, by using a simple mechanism, to instantly measure spacing between reflected images maching radii of curvature in perpendicularly crossing radial directions.
