Abstract

PURPOSE: The titled composition with excellent durability and forming a coat releasable by water, which is prepd. by compounding a water-insol. and alcohol- sol. synthetic resin, a surfactant with properties similar to those of said resin, and a surfactant giving specified surface tension.
CONSTITUTION: 100pts.wt. water-insol., alcohol-sol. synthetic resin such as a polyamide or polyurethane resin, 0.5W50pts.wt. water-insol., alcohol-sol. surfactant such as a polyethylene polyamine and 0.5W50pts.wt. surfactant such as an ethylene oxide adduct of a perfluoroalkyl compd. of surface tension ≤30dyne/cm in a 0.5% aq. soln. are compounded to obtain a sweating-proof composition. The surface of glass, a lens, transparent plastics, etc. is coated with said composition and dried at normal temp. to form a sweating-proof coat. It the coat is damaged or stained, it is possible to form a coat with uniform thickness by peeling the coat and applying said composition again.
