Abstract

PURPOSE:To maintain the temperature of hot water to be supplied at set value in the coldest season by a method wherein in the coldest season the flow rate of feed water is controlled under the maximum flow rate of fuel while under normal conditions the flow rate of fuel is controlled under the maximum flow rate of feed water. CONSTITUTION:The fuel supply signal, which is outputted as a result of the comparison of the signals of a feed water temperature sensor 2 and of a flow rate sensor 9 with the set value TSP in a primary calculating unit 11, is inputted in a controlling unit 14 in order to control a fuel controlling unit 4 to supply fuel to a burner 5. When a sensing unit 12 senses that the fuel supply signal of the primary calculating unit 11 demands more than the capacity of fuel supply of the fuel controlling unit owing to the lowering of feed water temperature in the coldest season, the sensing unit 12 outputs the signal to input from a secondary calculating unit 13 the feed water supply signal, which is based on the signal of the feed water temperature sensor 2 and the set value TSP, to the controlling unit 14 in order to control a feed valve 8 so as to maintain the fuel controlling unit 4 in the state to supply the maximum rate of fuel.
