Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain stable printing in a multi-stylus magnetic fluid recording device that has two rows of stylus arranged in zigzag shape by making acute the apex angles of two rows of stylus in a magnetic fluid recording device and placing the magnet for raising the stylus on its outside and giving the abutting face to the stylus an acute angle. CONSTITUTION:A stylus substrate 6 has an acute angle theta at its end and both faces of it are provided with two rows of magnetic multi-styli that become zigzag at the end. A raising magnet 2 is installed on each multi-stylus near its end, and those magnets have the same direction of magnetic pole. If the angle theta is made an acute angle from 30-80 deg., the voltage required for flying magnetic ink can be made low, and dirtiness of printed letters can be avoided by giving the tips of the raising magnets 2 an angle from 30-60 deg..
