Abstract
PURPOSE:To achieve a higher printing speed with a easy mounting of a lead piece to a printing head by arranging a pluraility of lead plates in the direction of shift while the lead piece provided with a dot pin through a slit is formed in the direction of shift. CONSTITUTION:A printing head 5 is provided with a permanent magnet 6 on which resilient lead plates 7 are arranged in the directions A and B. Four lead pieces 7b are formed on the lead plate 7 in the direction of shift through a slit 7a and furthermore, a dot pin 2 is provided at the tip of the lead piece 7b at an interval W1 including the lead piece 7b of the adjacent lead plates 7. With such an arrangement, when not in printing, the lead pieces 7b are attracted by a core 9a while in printing, with a reverse excitation, the leads 7b project toward a platen 12 with the dot pin 2 thereby printing dots 15 on a medium 11. The lead pieces 7b can be mounted to the head 5 easily even if lessened in each width W2 for higher density of dot pins.
