Abstract

PURPOSE:To control oscillation frequency with high accuracy, by using a variable capacity part consisting of a capacitor element row and a switching circuit for switching and connecting one or plural switches of said row, instead of a varactor diode. CONSTITUTION:A capacity element row 12 is connected to a piezoelectric element 1 through a switch row 13, and these piezoelectric element 1 and capacity element row 12 connected in series are connected to amplifying circuit 3 so as to form a feedback loop. A signal for controlling the frequency is inputted to a switch driving circuit 11 in the form of a digital code through an input terminal 10. The circuit 11 is operated so that prescribed 1 or plural switches are set to an on-state and other switches are set to an off-state in accordance with a control input code, out of switches S1...SN constituting the switch row 13. A load capacity value is varied by constituting so that the switches being in an on-state are varied in accordance with a digital input code for control, therefore, the oscillation frequency is controlled.
